Insurers know our name. They settle accordingly.

Jury verdict · Fulton County State Court $4.2M

Delivery driver hit by a fatigued trucker on I‑285. The carrier’s first offer was $350,000.

Our client was stopped in traffic near the Ashford Dunwoody exit when a tractor‑trailer hit him at 51 miles an hour. He spent nine days at Grady and couldn’t lift a package for most of a year.

The trucking company’s insurer called it a fender‑bender with a sore back. We pulled the driver’s electronic logs, which showed 16 hours on duty, and the carrier’s own dispatch messages telling him to keep going.

They didn’t want those in front of a Fulton County jury. They ended up there anyway. The jury was out for under four hours.

Three questions. About sixty seconds.

Clip & send. It’s free.

A licensed Georgia attorney reads every one, usually the same hour.

What happened?
Georgia’s deadline to file is usually two years. Sending this doesn’t create an attorney–client relationship.

You get paid

Most cases settle. If the offer isn’t fair, we go to trial. Our fee comes only out of what we win for you.

The partners Page A6

A small firm, by design.

We take fewer cases so every client gets a partner’s attention, and we prepare each one as if it’s going to trial. Most don’t. The ones that do, we’re ready for.

Thomas Harrow

Founding partner · trial lawyer

Tom spent eight years defending insurance companies before he switched sides in 2004. He still knows what adjusters are told to offer first, and what it takes to make them raise it. He has tried more than sixty injury cases to a jury.

“The first offer is a test. Most people pass it by saying yes. Don’t.”

Celeste runs the firm’s trucking cases. She reads every driver log, black‑box download and maintenance record herself, in English or Spanish. Licensed in Georgia since 2006, she joined Tom in 2011 and made it Harrow & Vance.

Car crash · Decatur

The insurance company offered me $9,000 and told me that was generous. Ms. Vance got me $310,000. She called back every single time, usually the same day. I never once felt like a file number.

— Denise R.

Truck crash · Smyrna

Two days after the truck hit me they were standing at my hospital bed. Sorted my bills, my rental, all of it. Didn’t pay a cent up front. I’d have paid double.

— Marcus T.

Slip & fall · Midtown

I honestly thought falling in a store was just bad luck. Mr. Harrow didn’t. He was straight with us from the first call, and so patient with my mother, who asked him the same four questions every week.

— Alicia P.

Pedestrian · Doraville

“Me explicaron todo en español. Nunca tuve que traducir para mi papá.”

They explained everything in Spanish. I never had to translate for my dad, not once.

— Jorge M.

Questions Page A8

Straight answers.

Q.How much does it cost to hire you?

Nothing upfront. We work on contingency: our fee is a percentage of what we recover, agreed in writing before we start. If we don’t win, you owe us nothing, including case costs.

Q.How long do I have to file in Georgia?

Usually two years from the date of injury, and shorter in some cases involving government vehicles or property. Evidence fades fast, so it’s worth calling early.

Q.The insurer already called me. What should I say?

As little as possible. Don’t give a recorded statement or sign anything until you’ve spoken with an attorney. Once you hire us, every call goes through our office.

Q.Do I have a case if I was partly at fault?

Often, yes. Georgia lets you recover damages if you were less than 50% at fault, reduced by your share. We’ll tell you honestly where you stand.

Q.How long will my case take?

Many claims settle within 6 to 12 months once treatment is complete. Cases that go to trial take longer, and you’ll hear from us at every step.

Still unsure? Call (404) 555‑0147, day or night.
